What amp do you have? Are you sure they are hooked up right? All the settings on HU and amp right?

u sure u have them setup right. cause those subs tend to actually sound pretty decent and get loud.

So what kind of "1200w amp" do you have? Is this the kicker comp or compvr?

I've had a vast range of kicker comps and they have all been reasonably loud on low wrms.

like 2 10's on a Ma Audio hk400d in a dodge intrepid trunk and they bumped fine.

its a profile amp and i have the box under my seat...so space is a big factor.... and they are just comps dont get me wron they sound good on low notes but they sort of distort or bottom out when u crank it up the amp is down alot and the output on the crossover is midways i have the crossover set around 80 and the bass boost is midways....

u talking about the single V.C. Kicker comp?... that is scraping the bottom of the barrel. should have at least got the comp VR's... they are a decent , low budget sub..

since u turned off bass boost you'll have to raise ur gain a bit more, they will hit then.

just regular kicker comps on 1200 watts!?! WTF? they are a 150 wrms sub. I bet it did sound better when you cut back the "bass". Sayin "Fu(k Kicker" after you made a bad sub/amp pairing is kinda fu(ked up.. JMHO

i agree with kicker subs meant for ported boxes. plus you got the kicker comps and they the entry level of that brand.
