Tens of thousands of ticket holders demanded that he be removed from the bill and then either tried to sell them or just didn't show up at all. It was the very first time that the festival hasn't sold out and most of the people in the crowd stayed just to see how heinous it would be after all of the worldwide publicity. Reports say that over half the crowd left during his set. Oasis' guitarist and songwriter Noel Gallagher told reporters that "I'm not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It's wrong." I couldn't agree more. So what does Jay Z do when he comes out on stage? He wears a guitar that wasn't even turned on in the mix, strums a few weak chords -- I guess to prove he has actual talent -- and then proceeds to "sing" parts of Oasis's hit song Wonderwall to somehow get back at his critics. Well guess what? Not only did he prove to everyone that he can't play guitar, but he also proved he can't sing at all. Shocking isn't it? He had an excellent backup band and singers trying desperately to cover for him but it was painfully obvious to everyone that all he can do is talk over a beat. What a talentless piece of shit and an utter joke. Watch the video for yourself below http://perezhilton.com/2008-06-29-did-he-deliver |
