i have order a new 18" Sonance and need to know what kind of box should i run. im getting a Chevy hhr panel wagon no wind all the way around but on the driver and pass front and very back.

If you go sealed use 3.5-4.5 cubes

If you run it Ported use 5-5.5 cubes with about 40SQ in of port opening

i would say 5cf ported at 38hz with more like 55sq port for what you are looking for.

i would go a lil smaller than 6 cu ft.. 5 cu. ft should do it... it you are curious abuot more air space, add polyfill to your 5 cu. ft. box...

6-7 @ 32hz thats what I would run,

at 32 hz you will have the best of both worlds, 35hz would be the highest tuning i would take it for Daily


But tuning is realy Personal Preferance Honestly, and no one on hear can realy say its not,

eh the sonance works very well in smaller enclosures. 5.5 cubes tuned to 34 would be my answer
