Friday, June 27, 2008 - 14:52 GMT Hey guys, I just purchased my first 15 sub and I need box suggestions. It is a HIfonics OLM2415. I know it is not best out there, but I am partial to Hifonics. I have a 1995 ford taurus. Any suggestions will be welcomed.

Friday, June 27, 2008 - 15:57 GMT ok the site don't tell you the recomended enclosure specs for you sub. just go with a 3.5 - 4 cuft box and tune it to 32hz. thats a good round number right there. that is the specs i went with a couple of 15s i had and it sounded good. if someone that has experiece with that sub tells you otherwise, then listen to that person. i just gave you a general box size and tuning for a 15.

Friday, June 27, 2008 - 17:46 GMT I like what you suggested Chad. 3.5-4cuft enclosure tuned at 32hz. Cant really go wrong with that. Be nice to have some specs for the sub though.

Yeah, I told him lol. From my understanding, that sub is more for SQL. I could be wrong though. Just do what Chad said. 3.5-4cubes net with a tuning around 34hz or so.
