Friday, June 27, 2008 - 02:10 GMT So I'm thinking about switching my setup to a single 12", maybe 2 12"s. My SPv.2 seems too power hungry... I'm looking for something that will get loud and sound pretty solid and will hit 30hz hard and not lack up top either. I will probaly buy something used, ~1000wrms. Would like to stay under $200, but might go $250. My thoughts so far for single 12"s... TC 3k Eclipse Ti RD Alpha V2 (single spider) SS Rl-p Dual 12"s Eclipse Aluminums Diamond audio D6's SI BM's RE SE's I'm sure it will be tough to find some of these, but It's not impossible. Lemme know what you guys think...

Friday, June 27, 2008 - 23:03 GMT Paul- I'm not too familiar with those, I never understood how the output was greater than if they were in 2 separate sealed chambers. Are they hard to design? They look easy but ya never know. BCS- I'm interested in both for sure, just lemme sit on it. I'm to torn on what I want to do.

Friday, June 27, 2008 - 23:23 GMT I think Jake ran one awhile back. And one is just inverse mounted. Not very complicated at all. There can be several possibilities. Just ignore the other enclosures. Here's a little more on it. Half way down http://www.turbobass.co.uk/muchmoreon.htm

Saturday, June 28, 2008 - 00:26 GMT From what I've gathered, the output would be 50% greater with 2 subs in separate chambers as compared to 2 iso, but doing 2 iso would be more controlled(better SQ) and use half the space?

Saturday, June 28, 2008 - 00:34 GMT Efficiency is lower but the space you gain being able to use two subs in the space of one is, well, your call. I wish I knew the link to Jake's iso setup.......
