ive got a ford mondeo 53 plate with a sony radio and a nokia phone kit fitted i want to play my ipod through the aux in socket in the glove box i bought a cable to do the job but it doesnt work possibly because the phone uses the aux socket on radio do you think this is the case?if so how easy is it to remove the stereo to remove the phone as i dont use the phone?
i think u ned to enable aux, if the phone kit is factory then the aux in the glove box should work.if u wish to dissconnect it, shouldn't be more then like 2 plugs to dissconnect. i doubt the hardwired it in. even if they did all you have to do is pull the radio snip the wires. to pull the radio though you need two release levers that slip into each side of the radio left and right then u can slide the radio out.
