Post Number: 6249 Registered: Feb-06 | not sure which is more efficeint. just like the kicker better cause of price, and usually underpowered a good bit. have ran several kicker amps and loved them all. however the jl does offer more wiring options, and that'd be the only reason i would choose the jl. as for efficeincy, i do remember reading a post from a jl tech on another forum stating their mono amps (especially the 1000/1) is actually not as efficeint as people would think. i want to say mid to high 50%s'. not sure on thier multi channels though, but just figured i'd share that. the pg xenons' are great amps. better wiring options then the slash series, underrated a bit (especially thier 600.1 and 1200.1 amps) that were only made for a year. alot of people slept on them when they first came out only to find out they were very good, and now getting harder to find. i regret selling the ones' i had, and will probably be picking up one of the 200.2s' myself. |
