I am installing a stereo setup in my buddys 2001 ford f-150. I have ran into a problem and im looking for help, i got everything all wired up and now i figured out the subs dont fit underneath the seat(its only an extended cab).i was wondering if anyone else has come acrossed this problem and what i could do to fix it? i have thought about making a smaller box, but then i wouldnt be able to get the proper volume of air for the subwoofer.i have also thought about customizing a seat bracket to raise the seats. SO now i am stumped, Is there anything i can do to overcome this problem? |

If not, here are some decent prefab boxes. http://caraudiofactory.com/ford-f150-c-22_23_55.html If you are building the box, those should give you a good idea of how big to make it without having to modify the back seat. What subs are they anyways? Might help for us to know. |
