Gold Member Username: JakeyplaysbassSt. Louis, MO / ASU Post Number: 2746 Registered: Jul-05 | Hey do any of you guys have any PPi art series crossovers or eqs for sale? Im looking for a eqt-223 crossover and a deq 230 equalizer. I will also settle for some different models of art series eqs. Or if you have art series amps!!! |
Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 6158 Registered: Feb-06 | good luck here, i've looked around the sale section myself and zac is the only one that has any. but he's bad at getting back to you, i've sent him an email and pm'd him on ca.com and nothing. check diyma though, i've seen a few over there (amps, i never check for eqs'). |

Gold Member Username: Safe_crackerChicago, IL US Post Number: 4573 Registered: Jan-06 | "i could go for some old orion amplifiers" I remember having a 85 Monte SS with an Orion Coabalt 230, two Pyle 15s in a 5cf sealed enclosure could be heard for like 2 blocks , good times 1988... Polo. |
Gold Member Username: JakeyplaysbassSt. Louis, MO / ASU Post Number: 2762 Registered: Jul-05 | Haha i was born in 1988 Polo. You are so old. |
Diamond Member Username: BestmankindPost Number: 20975 Registered: Oct-05 | lol gus i know. haha. that was the sh!t back then polo. only the rich had orion amps. |
Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 9314 Registered: Jun-04 | orion did make some decent stuff back then but the cobalt series amplifiers were the lowest line if I remember correctly....pyle subs were also better back then compared to what they are now jake papa...."Haha i was born in 1988 Polo. You are so old" I was 16 when you were born and im probably around Polo's age....were far from old |
Gold Member Username: Loc_outSOCAL2 RE 15 XXX Post Number: 2144 Registered: Feb-05 | I was six year old dont even recall 1988 |
Gold Member Username: Suleman36Post Number: 4317 Registered: Feb-05 | The ppi a600.2 has the best build quality of any amp i have. The sound quality does'nt get much better then these classic amps. Anyone who owns one of the originals in good condition is very forunate. THey are about a decade old now. Im going to sell them for $300 a piece ballpark. Have to factor in shipping aswell. |
Gold Member Username: JakeyplaysbassSt. Louis, MO / ASU Post Number: 2766 Registered: Jul-05 | Ill keep that in mind MO. I got the eqt-223 today so thats one less thing to worry about. |
Gold Member Username: Suleman36Post Number: 4318 Registered: Feb-05 | sweet |

Platinum Member Username: James1115Use a simple... Post Number: 10571 Registered: Dec-04 | I have some old orion stuff laying around aswell I should be going to my storage unit tomorrow or monday Jake so I will see what is there. I am pretty sure I still have the a1200,a600.2 and 2 a300's. I also have 2 orion hcca 250g4's and a old soundstream reference 300. I remember the orion cobalt stuff that was when the hcca line just was coming around in 93-94 I used to install and sell orion back then. "The beast" now you wanna talk about a nasty amp the 2250hcca I believe glasswolf is still running them! |
Gold Member Username: LoudonPost Number: 2473 Registered: Jun-04 | hes not lying folks ive seen some of the orion and the 600.2 if im not mistaken lol it was heavenly lol |
Platinum Member Username: James1115Use a simple... Post Number: 10577 Registered: Dec-04 | you sure have |
Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 9327 Registered: Jun-04 | yeah the hcca line was a good bit better than the cobalt line....the only issue I know of was with 225 hcca getting too hot |
Platinum Member Username: James1115Use a simple... Post Number: 10581 Registered: Dec-04 | the 250 and 2100 all got very hot but the heat sinks were better on the 250 and 2100 then the 225 but the 2250 had the built in dual fans which was very nice |
Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 9329 Registered: Jun-04 | yeah that 2250 was a nice amp |
Platinum Member Username: James1115Use a simple... Post Number: 10584 Registered: Dec-04 | yup yup how you been Sean? still messin with the abs boxes or what? tangbands? |
Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 9330 Registered: Jun-04 | ive been pretty good aside from all my car problems....no i havent built any more abc boxes but ive been thinking about it again....i sold those two 6.5 tangbands in the abc box a while back but I bought another tangband 6.5 since then....but they redesigned them and they have a 38 hz fs instead of 35 hz fs like the old ones.....how about you how have you been....ive got three different 12's too |
