Monday, May 26, 2008 - 23:46 GMT ok so i got 2 12" kicker cvrs just wanna know what the optimum box size would be i'm gonna tune it to 35 hz,its gonna be in a 98 mercury mystique and i took the back seat out if that helps any also kicker says between 1.75 and 2.25 cubes per sub ported

Tuesday, May 27, 2008 - 00:31 GMT 32hz is fine. but personally i'd just do 35hz, 4.0^3ft with 16 square inches of port per cube most music lately peaks in the 40s so tuning very low is kind of a waste unless you pick certain songs and make a good mix cd. of course i do love low tuned setups.. just got to have the music for them

Tuesday, May 27, 2008 - 01:09 GMT I had my 15"CVR in a 4cube box at 32HZ. Hit the lows very well... Id assume the 12s would be just as good.
