Yesterday I did a DD2515 on an Autotek SS1500.1 in an H2 Hummer...finished that up this morning. I had already installed a Clarion double din the that H2 bout a month ago.
Today, I installed 2 pair of tweets, a ZX1000.1, and 2 CVR15's in a Cadillac DeVille.
Then to top it all of at about 4pm I installed a JVC b{TAPE DECK} in a ~88 Mazda...The tape deck was at least 15yrs old
I heard the 2515 in that hummer when Canaan was installing it. It sounded very clean and got decently loud. I have to give Canaan a compliment on how clean that install was. Good job on it :D
I think the owner was pretty happy with it also lol.
The DD2515 was in 3.75cuft tuned to ~38hz. Nice clean sound, gets lower than you would think and its pretty dam punchy.
The SS1500.1 @ 2ohm is PLENTY of power for a DD2515. Gets that 15" moving w/ plenty of clean power. Its really more power than I like to put on 2500's when customers look at em, cause you never know how much they will over drive it. Great lil amps all in all.
We usually to sell the SS1500.1 w/ pairs of DD1500 SVC4's because we can sell the SS1500.1 for a nice price. But now w/ the new DD M.80 and DVC 1500's we can match amp/sub brands for a dam nice price.
