Bronze Member Username: Eriartika9Derby, CT USA Post Number: 38 Registered: May-08 | That poor guy. You just dashed his system apart. Listen the Audiobahns will hit okay for the price. The amp will be okay for the for the speakers and I don't see anything wrong with the Hifonics amp to run the Audiobahns be careful though because the quality of the equipment is no better than sony. A cap is a cap so no quarrel there and the Alpine deck is beautiful. Remember when you post on something like this that you will be ridiculed for not buying high quality equipment being your bank account does not call for it. After all, it is what makes you happy. When you can afford to buy the equipment spoken about in these forums spend it. But if you just want some cheap boom I see nothing wrong with your system. Do you own all this stuff already? Go to IKE Audio and look for some equipment. It is affordable there. Car discount stereo is another good one. They carry some RE Audio equipment at CDS, discontinued of course, but extremely affordable. You need to look harder. There is a lot still out there. |

Post Number: 6113 Registered: Feb-06 | it's not bashing cause it's not high end, it's cause it's crap. hifonics amp-good budget amp, but overrated. search around and you'll find numerous threads on hifonics amps going bad, so there build quality is so-so. soundstorm-never used, but have heard they are very poor quality, same class as legacy, pyle, so forth. cap.-unneeded waste of money. audiobahn-yes, there subs can get loud, but have piss poor sq and there build quality sucks. very poor decision. alpine-very nice hus'. people are just trying to save him money/time. best to save and get something better than buy not so good equipment that may or may not fail on him. saves time and money. |

Silver Member Username: Drant19DUB-C, TX Post Number: 968 Registered: Aug-07 | what size are his subs? 10, 12, 15? if hes got the 10s or 12s, then get the 15's, builda box to specs, and put just as much power on them as he does his. they will be louder due to just more cone area. |
