Gold Member Username: Safe_crackerChicago, IL US Post Number: 4476 Registered: Jan-06 | I think the transformer is gone can't find the short and really don't have the time to fix it, sucks. I changed everything out, scoped out perfect, nice waveform used it in-car for a week and a half. I went to turn it on the other day and it shut off again, funny thing is it never went into protect and it never smoked BUT it did take a whole set of power supply fets with it, again just plain tired ya know? Silver Member Username: KickermanPost Number: 220 Registered: May-06 | would u sell the sx |
Gold Member Username: Safe_crackerChicago, IL US Post Number: 4480 Registered: Jan-06 | The SX needs to be sent in to Kicker for repair. I am good repairing amps but when it is coupled with digital electronics (DSP board) it tends to complicate stuff, not to mention A/B can be a PITA. BTW Chad I just want enough power, the CVL's Sound best on 200rms, they get really loud just the way I like it. It is like me running my IA40 on a 16v system, you really don't need all that power but it is sure nice having it when you are in the mood to bump the punks in front of you! Polo. |
