Saturday, May 03, 2008 - 03:05 GMT uhh yeaa lol each car peaks at a different freq... open cars such as hatchbacks and suvs ideally get louder with the same equipment

Saturday, May 03, 2008 - 03:18 GMT It takes a lot more equipment to make a suv loud than a smaller cab or hatch. It's all about the build though.

Saturday, May 03, 2008 - 03:22 GMT the main reason i am asking this is i had 2 12 inch volfenhag's with a 250 watt hifonics amp in a s10 blazer. It was louder than a 12 inch L7 with a kicker 1200 in a mustang. It was louder than other kicker stuff too. So, people say volfenhag is junk and i just sold them, i am wondering if i put a good kicker system in my blazer will it sound really good, since my volfentrash sounded pretty good.

Saturday, May 03, 2008 - 03:42 GMT ive said it before and ill still say it again... volfenhag subs dont sound as bad as people say they do if installed right and they do get loud...we had a single volfenhag 4812 in a daily box on 900 rms hitting what would be a 141.7 db on a termlab...im not saying I wouldnt choose another sub for the money that series usually goes for but even the 4712 was decent but you got to get a good deal to make them worth getting...they have some issues with direct sunlight I think (48 series) and the 47's had a history of failure from abuse
