Friday, May 02, 2008 - 03:39 GMT Finally I have brought my girlfriend over to my side. She enjoys car audio and the stuff involved with it. She likes it so much that she wanted to learn how to build boxes today. I got her started on cutting out a small box and she took over from there. I showed her every step once or twice but she basically did the whole thing herself. I got some pics because I was so amazed But girls will always be girls. She did that with the saw dust and took a pic because it was "cute"...

Friday, May 02, 2008 - 04:00 GMT This isnt tuned or anything. She just wanted to try her hand at building a box and I had some extra wood left over. Its 16"x12"x12" and the port wall is just there. I dont even know how long it is. Carpeting will be the next thing I will show her on the box part. Im wiring up a friends double din and subs here soon and she wants to come along and help. Im enjoying this

Friday, May 02, 2008 - 11:05 GMT Little safety tip for your girl. Never cut anything in the middle supported only on the ends like she shows doing with the circular saw.

Friday, May 02, 2008 - 14:14 GMT Yeah kyle, she was #2 on her high school tennis team. The box came out near perfect except the port wall was about 1/8" too tall but she wasnt worried about it this time. paul, thats really the only way we have to do it but I know it isnt safe. I told her to be careful and shes a pretty smart girl.

Saturday, May 03, 2008 - 23:46 GMT Andrew, you say thats the only way to cut it but if you get a clamp and clamp the bored to the table or get bracing like spare 2x4s to lay across the tables you can avoid a accident.
