Friday, April 11, 2008 - 16:05 GMT US AMPS MD-2D (1500 watts @ 1 ohm) RD Alpha v.2 (1500 watts rms) 70 amp alternator 4 gauge power wire. 550 cold cranking amp battery in hood. What can i do to upgrade the charging system without replacing the alternator or the battery? So that i can play it at 1000 watts while the car is off for longer, and it will be able to run at 1000 watts + Capacitor? Battery in the trunk? What could i do?

Saturday, April 12, 2008 - 02:04 GMT I have 1/0ga ED wire. Good stuff. I also have 2ga Raptor wire in 17' lengths. ED wire is $2/ft plus shipping. 2ga Raptor wire is $30 shipped. And all the extra batteries in the world will not solve an inadequate charging system. Period.
