I know it's an amplifier forum but apparently the other ones aren't working ?
Anyone have this head unit.. is it any good? It says 60 watts rms x 4.. can i expect that or should i just stick to what i was thinkin about getting before (alpine cda 9833)
unfortunately I can't tell you about the pan first hand...
...but I can highly recommend the 9833, which I own myself. it's just a sweetass deck !!! The power output is even able to drive my 150w rms front midwoofers to enjoyable levels. Nothing like driving it by hughe external amps of course, but still a hell of a punch for just a unit sink.
If you're looking to fire a system with just small radio amps and still enjoy SQ, the alpine gets two thumbs up ! They can really do the job.
p.s.:If you use external amps, the 9833-amps can be switched off.
