Thursday, April 10, 2008 - 04:09 GMT Oh I misread the question. I meant 1/2 amp is a good size fuse to put IN your remote wire. You're asking where to connect the wire to....... the ignition wire behind the radio is easiest. It's usually red.

Thursday, April 10, 2008 - 23:46 GMT " How important is it to fuse your remote wire? " Very important if you don't want a fire if that wire shorts to ground. Or if it's connected to the HU, the HUs remote circuit would burn out. " i just want to know what fuse i could hook it up to " You connect it to the the ignition wire like I said. It's the wire that is +12 volts with ignition on, dead with it off.
