The TS-W301R by any chance? if so, then I would go with the Pioneer over the Lightning Audio any day. Used to own them and they aint too bad for being cheap subs. Good SQ |

I've heard my fair share of stuff from there, and it all is just plain depressing. You were looking to spend around $200-250 for everything correct? Well like I said earlier, my friend is selling his 2 12" concept HZ's in a sealed box all ready to go for $100+shipping for it all. They are barely even broke in, 250w rms apiece/dual 4 ohm vc. He just wants them gone, needs money for other things. He also has a Sony 1200w amp and I think he wants $25 for it. Just checked somewhere online and stated that amp does 500w rms, but I don't know how accurate that is since it's sony. I had 2 of these same subs, in about the exact same size box (1.25cf per chamber) and they played very nicely for the money. Good mixture of both SPL and SQ. They sound nearly identical to an alpine type-s (in the same box). I don't want it to sound like I'm just trying to pawn my friends stuff off on you, but I don't think you will find anything better for the money. If you're interested just gimme your area code and I can give you a quote tomarrow. |
