I have a pair of speakers that I don't know how much wattage they take or how many ohms they are or anything. Is there any way that I could test them to determine it with out destroying the speakers?
You can determine the ohms with a multimeter. Just put it on the lower scale and hook it up across the speaker inputs. You can't really determing the RMS wattage they can take using any tools, if you know what kind of speakers they are, you'll have to search them on the internet. If they're stock speakers, they're either 4 or 2 ohm. (Very few are 2 ohm, the Dodge Dakota Infinity components come to mind). If they're aftermarket, they're probably 4 ohms.
