Bronze Member Username: MathxewPost Number: 22 Registered: Feb-08 | Which of these 3 amps would be best to power a 10w7 http://www.orioncaraudio.com/Products/Products.aspx?ProductID=508 http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=475 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6590_Kicker+ZX1000.1.html Which of these 3 is best??? I care most about, efficiency, and sound quality, but power is also important (at 3 ohms) If you strongly think there is another amp that would work better for me please let me know |

Bronze Member Username: MathxewPost Number: 23 Registered: Feb-08 | less than $350, which i think all of them are. will the kicker sound okay, because i have heard that some of the kicker subs are really loud but arn't always the best sounding, is this true for their amps as well? |

Kicker might not have some of the greatest subs (solobarics come to mind), but their amps are very good all around quality. The only other amp I can think of that might be better for that sub is the Alpine PDX1000.1 and the JL 1000/1, but those are pretty pricey imo. |

Bronze Member Username: MathxewPost Number: 25 Registered: Feb-08 | I wan't to be able to run whatever i have without having to upgrade my alternator, so I wasn't sure if i would be better off going with the pheonix gold, 80% is high average efficency, and i probably wont be able to run it at anything above 550 watts because of the alternator. And how much would a big 3 upgrade help me? |
Gold Member Username: SomedonniedudeIllinois United States Post Number: 1344 Registered: May-07 | Hmm... I'm not sure how much the Big 3 will help (on stock alt), since every car is different. Some benefit more than others. As far as how much power to run, I'm really not sure. I would hate to give someone false advice, so I'm gonna leave this to someone else. |
