New member Username: Oldskool12Post Number: 7 Registered: Mar-08 | Alright thank you now tell me the answer to my question smart guy. |
Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Northwest PA Post Number: 7077 Registered: Jul-06 | Your fader would still work right assuming you wired everything up correctly. But why would you ever have a system with the rears amped and the fronts not. Rear speakers should be run in most case to begin with, and then if you were going amp one set it should definitely be the front. |

New member Username: Oldskool12Post Number: 8 Registered: Mar-08 | Yeah ok I get it but this dude that wired this piece of trash doesn't. It is an extended cab F-150. I thought about buying it from him. Dude's system is loud. Here's what he's got: (2) sets of Planet Audio 5.25s components (2) sets of Pioneer 6X8s (1) Orion P series 12 in a ported box tuned to 37HZ. (1) Pioneer DEHP5300 (1) HiFonics BX1206D (1) Autotek 2/3K x over (1) AudioControl four.1 EQ (1) Lightning Audio FF150.2 (1) PPI ART SERIES 300.2 HO ALT 200amp Everything is fused |
Silver Member Username: Drant19DUB-C, TX Post Number: 557 Registered: Aug-07 | how much? none of that equipment is anything spectacualar. hopefuly that HO ALT will fit your truck. |

Silver Member Username: Drant19DUB-C, TX Post Number: 559 Registered: Aug-07 | M.S., i did some research and found out the PPI ART amps are d@mn good and seem to last everyone 10+ years, which is why they are so rare. my bad. |

New member Username: Oldskool12Post Number: 9 Registered: Mar-08 | Ya'll think $950 is a decent deal for this stuff? All of it will fit in my truck. I can handle wiring this lil bit |
Silver Member Username: Snowball123West Allis, WI United States Post Number: 545 Registered: Oct-07 | hahah i was just sayin that because of what the thread title says. i was just messing around. |
Bronze Member Username: Oldskool12Post Number: 10 Registered: Mar-08 | Ok connected to the red power wire, the amp will not power down. I go hunting for a 12V ignition/accessory wire? |
Gold Member Username: LbecknerTulsa, Ok Usa Post Number: 1576 Registered: Oct-04 | Hmm what can he get something better for $950? |
Bronze Member Username: Oldskool12Post Number: 11 Registered: Mar-08 | All right problem solved I pulled another wire from accessory/ign. that delivers 12V at ign on. Thanks guys. But how bout this one: on another truck with a PPI200.2 what would the amp draw be? 150watt comps are being powered. In other words what amp fuse is needed at the battery |
Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Northwest PA Post Number: 7298 Registered: Jul-06 | Fuse suze is determined by the wire not the amp. http://www.bcae1.com/wire.htm |
