Friday, March 28, 2008 - 19:29 GMT Alpine makes good amps and excellent HUs. I would look elsewhere for subs though, but the type R and type X are alright.

Friday, March 28, 2008 - 19:29 GMT As for memphis, subs are ok but stay away from the amps.

Sunday, March 30, 2008 - 23:32 GMT "an amp that can power 750-1000 to each sub" sounds like a new HO ALT is in order for that one...

Sunday, March 30, 2008 - 23:51 GMT you might could get by with runnin 750 to each sub on a stock alt. depending on your vehicle. but 1000 each is stepin over the line a lil bit.

Monday, March 31, 2008 - 00:48 GMT I have memphis amps, and I would be a little wary of the subs from what I understand. I've never owned any, but I've heard many many people have to recone or replace. I've owned type-rs and a type-x, and I liked them both, but the only thing I'd buy from them now is headunits.
