Silver Member Username: Dubmc23Rapid City, SD USA Post Number: 228 Registered: Sep-07 | ok theres a guy sayin that the kx1200.1 can be dropped down to 0.5 ohm wen it is only rated at 1 ohm...heres what he said... This is a great amp that offers alot of power. It was briefly used for a little less than two weeks before being traded out for 2 more of kicker powerful amps. This amplifier is still in great working and physical condition. It pushes out more than 1200 watts at 1 ohm and is even possible to bring the load down to less than half (.5) ohm. trust me i still have one that I'm using on 3-dual 2ohm kicker subs and it jus sounds rediculous. |

Platinum Member Username: BestmankindHttp://www.rdaudio.net... Post Number: 19718 Registered: Oct-05 | yeah those things are gonna take a lot of power if you wire them donw that low. |
Gold Member Username: Safe_crackerChicago, IL US Post Number: 4337 Registered: Jan-06 | There is no way I would run 4 of those amps, they just take up to much room for what you get. I had 4 SX1250's and only ever used 2 because of the room restraint. There are many a single amp out there that will blow all four away and less than 1/2 the space IMHO...Polo.. |
