ported box for 1 15" Fi.Q. Here's what Fi Recommends:
"Ported box: 2.8-4 cuft @ 28-33Hz"

My initial thoughts are to do a 4cu ft tuned to 32Hz, but this is going in an accord and trunk space is an issue, Can I shave a little off the box to like 3.5 cu ft and have it sound just as good as if it was 4 cu ft?

Also, The box building site I'm using is confusing when it comes to ports, anyone know a better one than http://www.bcae1.com/spboxnew2.htm
??

any help would be great, I wanna do this the right way

Nah sry Andrizzle, indiana... i bet shipping on a box is rediculous

A different box design website / app would still help a lot, lost my link to a good one with port configs when I built my new computer

Another Question, Will caulk and screws be all I need? I see people with loads of glue sometimes, I'd rather not make that big of a mess if I don't have to. I plan on getting it sprayed with truck bed liner when im finished

Screws and caulk will not do the trick alone. The glue is the bond, screws are for letting the joint set properly. The caulk is for an air tight seal.

I square things up and use clamps and screws and to hold the joint tight WHILE the glue sets. It's a tad bit time consuming but my preference.

I use clamps everywhere and a lot of glue. But I use a nail gun instead of screws, just personal pref.

That's It!! Thanks Joey

I don't have any clamps, yet... If they aren't too expensive I'll prolly pick some up when I get the glue and wood, Thank's for all the tips so far, I'll post pics when I've made some progress

Thinking about dropping down to 3.5 cubes...
