Audiobahn A8000V will give you about 650 @ 2 ohms and its cheap and flashy I love the cool lights it has a voltmeter right on the amp if I were u I wud get tht. Its great for the price don't let the audiobahn name fool ya.
yea budget is a big thing when it comes to pickin amps if ur budget is 200 bucks u can go with crunch or another of those kinds brands but if u got the dough go for top of the line like sound streams new trx1500d 800rms @4ohms , and 1100rms @2ohms
well he can spend as much as 275 but im trying not to spend all of it...or id like to get a three channel so he can run components and a sub but the audioque 12 is dual 4 ohm
Alpine MRD-M605 Audiobahn A8000V Eclipse XA1000 Infinity REF611A Kicker ZX750.1 Phoenix Gold RSD600.1 Rockford Fosgate P600.1BD THESE WERE ALL UNDER THREE HUNDRED AND ARE ALL 600 RMS OR BETTER AT 2 OHMS
I thought about suggesting a kicker kx550.3 that way he can run a set of components and the audioque 2.5 12 off of it and he can still run the stock alternator its a 2003 ford focus four door I think but I dont like the 12 db per octave crossover set up in it but then again his current crossover is 12 db per octave in his profile amp i think
What's wrong with that crossover? Ultimately you're the one who can tune it so I don't see it as a problem unless you prefer a 18db P/O or something like that.
yeah I would like a 18 db at least or a 24...im looking at the kicker ZX700.5 now that way we could run components (tweeters on the front 2 channels) and the mids on the back two channels) and have full gain and crossover adjustibility on the tweets and mids and skip the passive crossovers...the only thing i still dont like is only 420 rms for the audioque 2.5 12 (I wanted 600 rms)
we will soon see what the sub can do in the orginal box we built for it when my brother owned it except in the ford focus four door now that my cousin owns
