Silver Member Username: Rockfordman2149Champaign, Illinois US Post Number: 164 Registered: Feb-08 | I didn't know them. I didn't sell it to my friends brother after all. Sold it to my cousin's friend. I know the setup I had SUCKED. That's why I sold it. |
Silver Member Username: Alex_smithPost Number: 109 Registered: Sep-07 | i was just playin man. but that is a pretty penny for that system. but hey, at least you got some good sh1t on the way |
Silver Member Username: Rockfordman2149Champaign, Illinois US Post Number: 165 Registered: Feb-08 | Hell yeah. I can't wait to get it all setup. I today I met the guy who won "car wars" last year. His name is Cody. He has one JL audio 13w6 and a JL audio amp. Not sure what model the amp is. He hit 142dB last year. So I think my new setup will beat that. I hope. |
Silver Member Username: Rockfordman2149Champaign, Illinois US Post Number: 166 Registered: Feb-08 | Oh and he just won the one amp class. |
Silver Member Username: Alex_smithPost Number: 110 Registered: Sep-07 | yeah 142 sounds acheivable |
Gold Member Username: JakeyplaysbassClarion Hert... Post Number: 2450 Registered: Jul-05 | Id rather get 2 15" alphas and those amps rather than an 18" HW. Maybe im wrong but arnt the HWs more of an SPL than SQL sub? I remember reading they wanted like 20kw for SPL bursts.... |
Silver Member Username: Rockfordman2149Champaign, Illinois US Post Number: 167 Registered: Feb-08 | The Heavyweight is a MONSTER plain and simple. If you want a subwoofer to handle thousands of watts in a daily application, and to be heard from a mile away look no further. Built to order they can be designed for SQL applications, or more on the SPL side to handle over 25,000 watts for short bursts. |

Silver Member Username: Rockfordman2149Champaign, Illinois US Post Number: 168 Registered: Feb-08 | Okay. I'll make a video too. But it won't be for a month or so. But, I will when I get it. |

True. And I'll start on the box design tonight. Haha I'm bored. And it needs to be tuned at 38-39.4 Hz. So yeah. |

Silver Member Username: Rockfordman2149Champaign, Illinois US Post Number: 170 Registered: Feb-08 | "If everything goes correct, you'd blow him out of the water." What do you think I will hit? My goal is 155 on music. With 2 18" HW. And an RD 7250.1D. That's later on in time though. |
Silver Member Username: Rockfordman2149Champaign, Illinois US Post Number: 171 Registered: Feb-08 | Got the box demensions. It's tuned at 39.408415339007 Hz. I think that's pretty close. The width is 25" wide x 23.3" height x depth 15". The port is 2.5" wide and 6.5" long. It tell me how long to cut everything too. So I'll work on that after I get the HW. |

Gold Member Username: HdubbTeam Revolution Post Number: 3390 Registered: Nov-04 | I think a bigger box then 5.5 cubes would be better. do you have room for 8cubes? it sounds good man. =) when do you plan on getting the hw? hehe. we can talk box designs and equipment if you would like. =) you have a big enough ride to make a good box. you can call me or text me at 1-505-592-5404 you have great box building skills so I think building your own box would be nice. =) the hw v.2 is a great woofer for music. is no sq sub but it still sounds very good musical. and it gets crazy loud. =) |
Silver Member Username: Rockfordman2149Champaign, Illinois US Post Number: 173 Registered: Feb-08 | ^^^^sounds good. And I put your number in my phone. I'll text you later. Oh and I have this plan, but I don't think it's 8 cu ft. |
