I'm tryin to find an awd dyno in colorado so I can get some numbers on mine. I just installed 3" exhaust w/ cat delete, and got my ECU remapped by Vishnu Tuning, should be at least 380whp. |

Email Post Number: 4676 Registered: Nov-05 | i don't think youll see 380 whp with just exhaust bolt ons.. when your car was tuned was it a street tune of OTS map? a lot of drivetrain loss.. stock the evo is what 276hp? thats at the crank not wheels.. prolly more so 240ish at the wheels so your looking at 140+whp over stock with few supporting mods, i don't see it but i could be wrong stis stock with 300hp are even lucky to see 240whp on a dyno what are your other supporting mods besides just exhaust? soon as i do the swap im going to get a dyno tune and post up some numbers, prolly be along the lines of 310-320whp and close to 400hp at the crank on 93oct |

But it really doesnt take much to make an Evo fast. My freind has an STI and has done many mods with little gain. So far: 3" TBE w/ cat delete Air Filter Kit Vishnu X-flash http://www.vishnutuning.com/evoIX_Stage1_v400.htm Check out that Vishnu link they got sh!t for subies too. After that ecu flash and that boost solenoid I'm boostin like 21psi. |

Subaru is all about tuning.. actually bolts without a tune will hurt an STI 380hp at the crank being AWD you'd be around 300-310AWHP which is a fast car im tuned by TDC tuning, mild tune for 18.5psi .. soon as the swap ill be looking at 22psi on another mild tune.. might do something aggressive when i get a second car |
