Saturday, February 23, 2008 - 03:21 GMT Well after I got home from school my 780 was sitting on the front porch. I decided to hook it up right away. This thing is so fu<king sick. It's got so much cool stuff packed into it. The colors are amazing and the SQ is great. I don't have any alternator whine or noise at all now. Thanks for the HU Brad. new HU and other cool things wiring up the harness. I decided to solder it. Complete install

Wednesday, February 27, 2008 - 01:34 GMT I agree mike. The BBE really makes it sound like a live performance and it seems to improve the imaging. The sound from all the speakers seem to reach you all at the same time even though the alignment may be off. Completely Night and Day !

Wednesday, February 27, 2008 - 03:07 GMT Well I set everything to how I liked it. I debated on the BBE for over 30minutes, switching to loud and then BBE a bunch of times. To me it made it sound a little too harsh and sharp. I put loudness on with everything else off and to me it sounded much better in my car... I've always used loudness on my HU's and never had a problem so I dont wanna hear anything lol. The thing I really love about this HU is the time alignment. It makes a huge difference when I set it right. When it was off it sounded like how you would think it would sound in a car with the sound coming from the sides of the doors. The TA really helped to put me in the center of the music and sounds like I'm right in front of the singer. It's hard to explain but I love the TA feature. Then I finaly set my SAZ's gain and wow I could not believe the difference it made in how my subs sounded. They seem to play even smoother than they were and get even lower now.

Friday, February 29, 2008 - 18:13 GMT ^^^^^^That was for snow not you stateprop. I run the wires through the seats by simply cutting a small slit in the the fabric than theres just metal under it so I run it to the bottom and theres velcro where i can pull it through and run it under the seats. The amp is just screwed right to the seat. I was gunna use MDF but I didnt want a huge lump in my seat. For the tweeters I used a drill with a hole cutting bit and just cut the right size hole for how big the tweeters were. Then mounted them with the brackets they give you.

Friday, February 29, 2008 - 18:21 GMT eh....A long time ago I always had the loudness off and my highs just never sounded as good as they do with the loudness on. I cut the lows on my EQ about -2 each and its fine. with my old HU i had eq flat with loudness on everything else at 0. I had it like that for over a year till i switched with this HU and had no problems at all.
