Tuesday, February 19, 2008 - 01:09 GMT I'm thinking about picking one of these up this Spring. What have you guys heard about it... I was reading that they were recommending 1 cube sealed, or if it had to be ported, 1.5 cubes max. Also nothing over 1000 being thrown to it. Sounds like a perfect driver for me, just want to make sure that for 275 (which is a great price) that its gonna be just as good as the old one.

Tuesday, February 19, 2008 - 01:48 GMT The MAG is a very nice sub, I am not thrilled about the XBL^2. I couldn't stand the Adire products. Hopefully she specs right and the MAG continues being a great sub Kevin

Tuesday, February 19, 2008 - 01:54 GMT IDK maybe cause I'm biased but wasn't the 15" Mag their best seller? If not it certainly is one of the best of the group. Why discontinue such a great sub? Lol. Kevin. When I bought the Mag I kept saying to myself that I wished SI made an 18". How much more power does the Alpha need?

Tuesday, February 19, 2008 - 02:17 GMT I think IMO, the 15 was the best seller by far out of the MAG. As for Alpha, 1500 rms is awesome for an 18, but can take massive thermal power. Kevin

Wednesday, February 20, 2008 - 03:18 GMT I would do about 30hz for the Mag. Again, should ask Nick what he suggests for the sub.

Wednesday, February 20, 2008 - 03:30 GMT Mags doing great so far. Haven't got around to adjusting everything just yet but will soon. Gonna leave it sealed but might port it this summer. We'll see what happens. Pics and vids in a few days.
