i know canaan, but im wondering if i can just cut down the spider to fit, but add another for strength.. its a thought in my head right now lol

drivin.. SX motor is 3" gap for the coil.. only way to use a 2.5" coil is a different motor

Just a wild thought here, Could you just buy the recone pieces separatly and fabricate to fit? What I mean is but a coil/former and spider complete with no cone, buy an 8" cone and cut out a hole big enough for the former to fit through the cone, and then of course just trim the spider to fit whatever basket you use?

The thing is, it will be so over motored for an 8" cone that I will get to the limits of the suspension WAY to fast. You won't get much travel out of it.

Make sure to mount it inverted, so people can be like WTF is that?!

Do you have a blown sx, or just a motor? Would you want to sell it?
