Help me with fi

Nick Silver Member Username: O0airjordan120o Post Number: 292 Registered: Sep-07	Posted on Sunday, February 17, 2008 - 02:35 GMT http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/installs/viewpolk.php?id=25 this is wat im wanting to do with my truck. kinda. lol currently i have a memphis mojo and want to sell it and get something from FI. im guna try to fit a 15 inch there and an aero port on each side of the sub. ild like to go with the btl so i can upgrade later. i dont have the money to buy a HO aalt right now so want to maybe power it at 1500 max. so can someone tell me the options i should get if im looking for a good balance of spl and sq. 50/50. and then point me to a good amp 1000-1500 rms to go with the sub and then an amp that will power it once i upgrade again? THANKS!

A hifonics 2006d would get you by for the 300 or so it would cost. A kicker 2500 would be a good amp, and not too expensive. D2 coils would fit most choices, but with the kicker you'd want D1 Get cooling (P chamfer is included.) 3rd mag, high xmax coil, daily. Unless you want universal so you can change your coil config in the future, I wouldn't worry with that. Why not get the big amp first, keep it turned down, then get the big alt?
