Silver Member Username: TornPost Number: 546 Registered: Jan-07 | here are the old walmart 6x9's that i put in during the summer was shocked how the shot the coils were and still working. Here are a pair of soundstream 6.5 to replace them. Sounds very nice 9x better than the wal mart ones. My fronts are some zapco's back and fronts are powered by their own ag 360's also upgraded a broken rca with same rca thats new. all in all the zip ties work 100% perfect the speakers are stuck there with no movment whatsoever. |

BTW you will get absolutely no midbass out of that. A speaker doesn't work if the front of the cone isn't separated from the back, and you've got big holes around them. |
Silver Member Username: TornPost Number: 559 Registered: Jan-07 | lol right now this works even better than the 6x9 which blocked off all holes,You're right i am very lazy/have no tools to make one atm tried looking online for an adaptor but found none for my car. |

Silver Member Username: TornPost Number: 561 Registered: Jan-07 | how's that work? found one on ebay but shows a big 6x9 hole and i asked about it he said he can custom make me a 6.5 one for 35$ shipped. Thought the adaptor on crutchfield be good to for it cuzz it covers over the stock 6x9 holes when i mount those 6.5's in, am i wrong? |
