What amp(or amp specifications) would you recommend would work best on thees subs. I'm looking for somthing resonably priced. And also wanted to know what is the difference between a 4ch, a 2ch and a mono amp when having 2 subs connected? which is the best option or is it the same? thanks! |

The advantage a mono would give you is that most of them are class D, which makes them more efficient than a typical 2 channel that is class a/b. The Hifonics bxi1206d will give you around 1000w at 1 ohm - you can find them for around 200. The Lanzar Opti1400D would work well - it's $219 shipped at allaudioexpo.com Here's a decent 2 ch that should give you around 700w - $180 shipped -- http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9177_Clif+Designs+CD6.2LE.html If you go much cheaper than that you really start rolling the dice on reliability. |
