Wednesday, February 13, 2008 - 00:52 GMT Something I have never seen before, wondering if anyone has any experience. The gromit in the firewall from the inside of the car seems to run through a channel or something of the sort, and then runs out of another gromit into the engine. Normally, I would just pop a small hole in the gromit, and feed the wire through, but for this mustang, I am having issues. As i run the wire through, either one of the gromits, they both seem to hit a wall or something, and I am unable to feed any more of the wire through. In addition, no wire is visible through the other side. Anyone have any experience with a 2007 Mustang? Thanks!

Wednesday, February 13, 2008 - 01:05 GMT you should be able to find a whole through the frame into the car somewhere, that's what I did.

Wednesday, February 13, 2008 - 02:18 GMT like I said, you should be able to find a hole through the frame that will come inside the car, prob behind the kickpanels

Wednesday, February 13, 2008 - 02:19 GMT You drill the hole somewhere not visible...... as you would want to do anyway. Then silicone it when you take the wire out, problem solved.

Wednesday, February 13, 2008 - 02:21 GMT Then drill a small hole Or look around on the floorpan...there is prolly a grommet somewhere in it. Run the wire under the car...zip-tie it up tight to the frame.

Wednesday, February 13, 2008 - 07:51 GMT I have an '05 Mustang and I ran my wire through the grommet to the right of the battery. It's down a little bit on the firewall behind a rubber sack thing. You have to put a hole in the foam on the inside of the firewall, but don't worry, there's nothing there.

Wednesday, February 13, 2008 - 09:05 GMT No, the fuse holder is just sitting next to the fuse box. I ran the wire like that because the amp was behind the front seat. This way I could leave enough wire to run the amp to the trunk in the future.

Wednesday, February 13, 2008 - 21:04 GMT but if you are worried about it, drill it under the car and pring the power wire up from uner the seat. Thats what I did for my 1/0. Ran it under the car and through the bottom, under the seat
