I built one with woofer tools for my 13 W6, and it came out very nice. Hits low and hard. btw, it was about 20% bigger then JL Spec. But Phil may sell you a plan for it. I plan on giving him a shout when I need my next box for 2 - 13.5 W6 ported. |

A good regulated amp, like (I forget model) PG will do 1000 at 1-4 ohms, as well as those alpines, and of course 1000/1 jl. Maybe a Memphis ST1500 or ST1000 will work well too. They can be had pretty cheap. Also that saz 1500? not sure on dat one . But nice sub, |

Should've bought one of those PG Xenon 1200.1 before I bought this ZX 1500.1. Very nice amp that they made for only a year or less. |

Also with more excursion your suspension(spider(s)) has a harder time keeping up? |
