no offense taken man. lol. everyone needs second or third opinion.

where is the sub gonna go? driving is right about the box. if you are gonna do something like that, you are better off with just a normal port.

i still say you are better off with a simple square port to the side. you might even consider aeroports.

if you do it this way, you can make it so you can change the tuning of the box. that way you can experiment with various tuning to see what you like best.

If it's an extended cab truck and the sub is on the slanted baffled, I would fire the port up to have the bass response and output come up and over from behind.

Having the port down at the bottom is just going to smother the he!! out of bass no to mention having it reflect off and around alot of crap.

I did a port setup like this Chad for thieves because he wanted a swappable daily/spl tune except I used two 4 inch pvc ports for his alpha v1 12...he might not like the demensions but its all I could do to with the space he gave me...at least the two ports are straight for a 32 hz tune

Parts express has them. You can adjust the length as needed and duct tape it. There are many port calculators out there. I'm at work so I can't link them. Someone else will tho.......

Yes, out the side of the box.

see I thought he would say its enough room... now you can have a straight port for your daily tune... thats good for output and retuning if you wanted to do that
