Monday, February 04, 2008 - 09:39 GMT I have a friend interested in spending up to $500 on either 1 or two 12" subs, SQL. I'm trying to talk him into a ported box, but he's pretty set on sealed. Any suggestions? I myself was kinda looking at a 15" Q w/ cooling or 12" Alpha. Amp is 1500 WRms @ 1 or 2 ohms.

Monday, February 04, 2008 - 19:01 GMT True, but you could always get the single spider and run 1500wrms no problem, still maintaining SQ

Monday, February 04, 2008 - 19:45 GMT I guess his other stipulation is that it has to be BNIB..That alpha sounds pretty tempting to me. Or two SS RL-P's. Lmao Rob. How much? I -might- be interested.

Monday, February 04, 2008 - 21:06 GMT "a 9515 is more spl the sq....is say its an SQPL sub.. rofl" I'd agree somewhat because they aren't known to hit on the low end all that well but you guys have to factor in the fast attack that DD is known for which translates into great SQ because they can keep up with any music. Joshua, I'll send you a PM with details.

Tuesday, February 05, 2008 - 12:54 GMT "Incriminator DP Fi BL Ascendant Audio Havoc Mach5 SPL12 etc" The SPL12 is good for SQ? I heard that the Havocs also aren't impressive at all. BL, eh...nobody's been all that impressed by those either. The DP I know nothing about.

Tuesday, February 05, 2008 - 13:04 GMT aint the Dp's that IA makes the most expensive for their spl? that's what i though anyways if im wrong tell me; they are just less rms rating for spl subs compared to others aren't they?
