Gold Member Username: AdddisorderPalm Beach, Florida Post Number: 5865 Registered: Jan-06 | for the voltage regulator that plugs into the alt from the cars wiring harness is different or generally is for different engines or atleast for cars that i looked at different HO alts for. http://www.autoshop101.com/trainmodules/alternator/alt103.html read that little bit and it IG, S, and L are all in the plug that goes into the alt. chances are its not going to match up. get a picture of it and compare it to yours i guess. plus its off a 5.0 and you want to put it on v6 its a completely different engine. the mounting bolts more then likely wont line up. but you could make a bracket so it will fit. the big 3 doesnt have anything to do with if it will fit or not. hell its only 60$ worse comes to worst just sell it again. |
