no kev. the reason i want to go with a 2 way is cause my foot keeps hitting the kickpanel when i go to push the clutch in. also i need space to put my foot when i am driving. lol.

for sq plans i will be going with the nobelium 2 way. my door is good enough. also thinking of getting a dls amp to match the components. the amp will come later.

that is a good price you are selling them for. cosmetically what would you give them? also they are 2 way with 6 1/2 woofers right? i'll have to think about that if you were to sell them. lol.

yeah, 6.5" .. they look mint, maybe a little dusty

these were in a demo vehicle.. be warned the x-overs are large so if you try to hide them it might be a pain

i've heard the dls play well off-axis so they should sound good in the doors

i need to hurry and install these to see how i like them.. dls amps are very nice.. thats what these were run off of

you going to get serious and compete in SQ or just doing it for your listening pleasure?

you know when you sit directly in front of a speaker.. its loud.. when you start to walk away at an angle the sound starts to fade since the sound is directed straight..

some companies make speakers play off-axis rather than straight forward.. jbl gti comps for example do this..

basically you could mount them flat and still hear them almost as well as if you were sitting directly in front of them yet be at a slight angle

i'll find out about that dls amp.. might be a little longer than i expected to install.. i went outside today to see if i could throw them in really quick..

well i need to run two sets of wires back to the trunk because the x-overs are so big i can't mount them anywhere under my dash.. i might be able to get one on the drivers side under there and could put the pass under the pass seat.. but for that trouble i might as well make a nice rack in the back for them
