i got the pioneer one so i can control it from the HU. i cant remember how much i got it for. but i got it on ebay. its like $6/month buts thats cuz my dad already has it on his and just added it to his account. if your on the road a lot, its great. its expensive tho to get it installed so try to do it yourself.
yeah i only listen to it when im on like a road trip...which is usually every other weekend. the gf lives 4 hours away. so it comes in handly on those drives
stereo - True stereophonic sound systems have two independent audio signal channels, and the signals that are reproduced have a specific level and phase relationship to each other so that when played back through a suitable reproduction system, there will be an apparent image of the original sound source.
mono - Mono or monophonic describes a system where all the audio signals are mixed together and routed through a single audio channel.
take your pick abarca...but im sure youll see that stereo is the best choice.
LOL driving come on, I thought you were smarter than this..........
If your using a 2ch amp for subs (which is not ideal in the first place) you would want to run it bridged, so it will act the same as a mono amp.
If you have a mono sub amp, the 2 RCA input signals are summed at the amp. You will ALWAYS get mono output to your subs, no matter what. The number of subs you have is completely irrelevant, they will all get the same signal no matter what.
Now it's technically possible to run 2 subs in stereo if you had each one on a separate channel of a 2ch amp, but you would NOT want to. Especially if they're in a common chamber box. But even if they're not, theres a reason why subs are run in mono not stereo. Bass frequencies are non-directional. Stereo would make no difference.
