Silver Member Username: Dmm2005DD Audio ORION, Warren Count... USA Post Number: 588 Registered: Aug-06 | yea..the cone and surround look almost audiobahn like. The stats on it look pretty impressive though for the price |
Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Northwest PA Post Number: 5820 Registered: Jul-06 | Haha it does remind me of an audioburn.......... some people think subs with a fat surround are better, when in fact the opposite it true, it reduces cone area. |

Gold Member Username: camBC Canada Post Number: 1780 Registered: Nov-06 | But none of you have any real idea, having never heard it. You are just drawing conclusions from specifications and pictures. Cool. |
Gold Member Username: CblazeRock island, Tenesssee Us Post Number: 1575 Registered: Sep-07 | well if it has a10 inch cone its only gonna get loud as a 10 is my conclusion |
Gold Member Username: camBC Canada Post Number: 1782 Registered: Nov-06 | LOL! Only gonna get as loud as a 10. Come on. You haven't heard it, so how could you know. You can't come to a conclusion without actual observations of performance. You can hypothesize, but no more than that. |

Gold Member Username: camBC Canada Post Number: 1783 Registered: Nov-06 | I have an idea, Rob. Amplifier charges the solenoid, moving the cone according to the frequency and amplitude of the signal. That may not be too in-depth, but it's a working piece of knowledge. Now, the more air it can displace per watt, the better, from our standpoint. However, a box can do wonders, as you should know. |

Gold Member Username: JkidderGunshine , State Flawda Post Number: 3115 Registered: Nov-05 | i say try it. 350 for 2500 rms is good. and a good reputable company |
Silver Member Username: Dmm2005DD Audio ORION, Warren Count... USA Post Number: 589 Registered: Aug-06 | 2500 is the max power I think...they were saying 1200-1500 rms is the range on that sub. I'm still leaning towards a 15 Q for the price and to be good sealed in my application. |
Gold Member Username: camBC Canada Post Number: 1785 Registered: Nov-06 | Yeah, they're supposed to be able to handle 2kW, thermally. |

Gold Member Username: Th3pwn3rPost Number:... Post Number: 6648 Registered: Jul-06 | "Yeah, they're supposed to be able to handle 2kW, thermally." That doesn't mean much if they can't handle it mechanically. |
Gold Member Username: MgbcsLincoln, Nebraska Post Number: 2080 Registered: Dec-06 | I posted this a while ago, but since this fits the thread I may as well ask again. I ordered one of these a long time ago, and got tired of waiting for eD to finish. I went another direction with my install. So, I have one on order for about $250 (I got the pre-order and have to make sure the ecact price). Anyways, if anyone wants it for actual price, I will have it shipped to you directly form eD. I figure if someone wants to try it, you may as well do it for cheaper. Otherwise I will be canceling the order. Let me know. |
Gold Member Username: camBC Canada Post Number: 1786 Registered: Nov-06 | "That doesn't mean much if they can't handle it mechanically." Yet another facet that the enclosure has a hand in. In that video, they had 2.4kW on it. |
Gold Member Username: JkidderGunshine , State Flawda Post Number: 3118 Registered: Nov-05 | oh i was looking at the wrong sub. they are high excursion subs, hence the surround. |
Platinum Member Username: Chaunb3400Huntsville, Alabama U.S. Post Number: 13666 Registered: Jul-05 | That sub looks like it has potential to be something pretty damn good...Every ed sub i have ever heard was beyond my expectations in sq and spl...im just waiting on an unbiased review of this thing |
