ohkay when the car goes a LOUD squeeling (spelled wrong) noise...like a grinding noise is coming from my left front tires...it just started yesterday..the third day i had my rims..my car is front wheel drive. its LOUD so i havent been driving it. but my brakes still work.....i looked it up on google and i think my brake pad is worn and my rotor is being grinded. my pop swears the tire is hitting my springs but i said it would of made the noise the first time...i think its the brake pads....???
yea, your wheels might have bumped your pads against your roters and now they are off alinment, what kind of car do you have? i saw your post i just don't remember the tyep of car
well of course it rubs when i turn my wheel all the way.i have twentys on it...but its been rubbin when i turn sharp..but never made that loud noise it is making....my dad is going to take it to the shop..i think its the brake pad from what i have read....i have a ninety nine galant..
well its not rubbing.... not the front...its clearing my springs.. ima get the spacers but thats not going to stop the grinding noise..it just started.
and it just does it if the car is rollin super slow orrrr super fast or normal speed...just anytime the tire is rotating and only that front left tire...
Sounds like the constant volocity joint has worn. Possible due to that fact that the new rotational mass of the "20'S" is too much for the original equipment manufactured part. The inercia generated by the larger tires and new alignment will cause that. You did raise/modify the suspention when you added the tires? Im sure you wouldnt just hap hazardly throw some 20's on there and go styling...would.did you?
thats why i just went wit 18's on my camry i was going to go 20's but i changed my mind...because of all the possibilities that could happen like to u for instance. also you would spend alot of money on brake pads becuz the rims diameter is so much bigger it wears out the brake pads faster....
