Wednesday, January 23, 2008 - 00:25 GMT but is it something to worry about like something bad happening?? cause the sub still plays fine just that noise that you can only hear if you put your head next to the sub.

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 - 03:55 GMT If it does it when the car is off then its not alt. whine. You should double check the ground. Even though i highely doubt its a bad ground, that was a very secure and clean ground.

Wednesday, January 23, 2008 - 04:31 GMT Unplug your RCA cables from the amp, and turn the system on. IF you don't hear the noise, it's in the headunit or RCAs. If you do still hear it, and you've checked your ground, it could just be the amplifier. BTW what amp is it.
