New Ride, Getting Back Into Car Audio, Need Advice

I've been working as an installer at Circuit City for a few months now and I'm so sick of pushing Kicker and MTX I really want something non-mainstream. I have a 240SX which was owned by another installer and the car has a badd alarm and is heavily dynamatted. I'm looking for something for SQL and was actually considering using kicker amps because of the accomodations I get there, but am def. open to suggestions. Here's some of the stuff I'm thinking about. HU: Pioneer AVIC-D3 with sirius and ipod inputs on it. (pretty sure here) Comps: CDTs, Diamond Hexes, Infinity Kappa perfects (get a good discount on these too), others, trying to stay below 200 Subs: Something that I can run sealed, either 1 15 or 2 12s like Q or Mag, etc. Amps: Around 1500x1 for sub amp, and 75-100 to four channels. Also have any of you heard a setup in a car with subs facing up? How does this sound if you have heard it. Thanks in advance and I need to start coming back here more |

Aren't 15" MAGs pretty hard to come by at a reasonable price now? How would it sound in the spair tire well sealed on about 1300-1400 rms? |
