Saturday, January 19, 2008 - 23:57 GMT okay..... now before you take a look a my box below, reaize this. I will admit i was an idiot when i built it beacuse of where the ports are and im not sure but this kind of design is probaly frowned upon?, but now that its built i need to figure out the best way to position it for that ideal deep bass sound. I will be getting a new car soon and rebuiling the box for this car right now would be a waste of money.............. FRONT BACK BACK Looking Through Port My system is out right now for the winter but when i had it in the sunner i put it so the sub would face into the cab of my car when the seats were down. my question is with this box, do you think that i would get deeper sound with the ports facing into the cab instead of the subs facing in?.......................................................

Sunday, January 20, 2008 - 01:04 GMT Did you even use any specs to build that? Or did you just throw it together, cut out some ports and call it good?

Sunday, January 20, 2008 - 19:44 GMT Wow you've been here since 05 guess you haven't learned anything.... You cant just make a hole in the box and expect it to be "ported"

Monday, January 21, 2008 - 14:17 GMT What I would do is place a board over those ports and hope the volume of the box is alright to run the subs sealed.

Monday, January 21, 2008 - 18:58 GMT what is it tuned to just if I ask? I know you can find that out by measuring, because you were selling boxes on here werent you??? well I would face the ports to the trunk of the car (outside).
