Gold Member Username: Joebruce15 AQ HD3 Post Number: 1691 Registered: May-04 | JL 10w6v2. Good in small sealed places. Kinda pricey tho but sound quality is awesome. |
New member Username: IheartbassLA, CA Post Number: 8 Registered: Jan-08 | yeah its the rockfordfosgate amp im kinda looking in the 200-300 price range...your opinions wanted thanks |

Gold Member Username: ShortysetniesRock Vegas, NC US Post Number: 1713 Registered: Mar-06 | I would assume sealed b/c of size limitations. If you can go ported, do it... Look into a AQ HDC3 10. http://www.audioque.com/aq/HDCSeries.htm That sub would sound better ported though |
Gold Member Username: ShortysetniesRock Vegas, NC US Post Number: 1714 Registered: Mar-06 | or an Fi BL but there again, ported would sound better all around IMO |
New member Username: IheartbassLA, CA Post Number: 9 Registered: Jan-08 | i was thinking about getting a kicker L5... should i do it?? |
Gold Member Username: Nyyfan13Fi SSD USA Post Number: 7998 Registered: Jul-06 | No L5. Are you looking for SQ, SPL, or SQL? |
New member Username: IheartbassLA, CA Post Number: 10 Registered: Jan-08 | SQ |
Gold Member Username: Joebruce15 AQ HD3 Post Number: 1704 Registered: May-04 | 10w6v2 FTMFW |
Bronze Member Username: IheartbassLA, CA Post Number: 12 Registered: Jan-08 | does anyone know if the AQ HDC3 10 has real good SQ |
Bronze Member Username: OreosTallahassee, Florida USA Post Number: 12 Registered: Jan-08 | Well this is tough because thats a lot of power you are running to one 10 and square subs suck so i would recommend this but it aint cheap http://www.cerwinvegamobile.com/stroker10.php |
Gold Member Username: Joebruce15 AQ HD3 Post Number: 1707 Registered: May-04 | HDC3 wont have terrible SQ but theres better SQ out there. And I wouldnt put an HDC3 in a sealed box. Dont even think about that Cerwin Vega, ive heard one and its not impressive at all. Like I said before for a small sealed box go with a JL 10w6 or maybe a Fi Q. www.ficaraudio.com |

For SQ both of the mentioned subs about are good I've never heard the Q but the W6 are meant for small enclosures and have great SQ. Check into some of the RL series subs for SQ like the RL-S or RL-P |

Gold Member Username: The_image_dynamicSan Diego Post Number: 3365 Registered: Dec-06 | For SQ with that amp and the sealed box I would go with an Infinity Kappa Perfect Die Cast no question. The dual 4 coils wired to 2 ohms will see a clean 500+ RMS. |
Bronze Member Username: IheartbassLA, CA Post Number: 13 Registered: Jan-08 | im thinking about getting the Fi Q for SQ or the AQ HDC3 10 what do u guys think is the better choice..?? |
Gold Member Username: TejcurrentPost Number: 1011 Registered: Apr-07 | I would go with the Fi Q simply because of my experience with it. It has decent output and great SQ, and falls right in your price range. 1krms is plenty on the Q too. |
