No ground doesnt complete the circuit and you will start blowin fuses and possibaly your amp...secure your ground to the vehicle where there is no paint on there. If you have to sand the paint. |

Your infinity amp is stable at 2 ohm, the hifonics is 1 ohm...... so you need to be able to wire the sub(s) to 1 ohm that will be used with it. The hifonics amp is overrated, it does ~1600w at 1 ohm. |
