I used to have a different amp, and my subs ran perfectly. However, there was physical damage done to the exterior of that amp, leading me to replace it with a similar model. I have a cliff designs CD1.1L Amp. LE Series 1-Channel Class D Car Amplifier RMS Power Rating: 4 ohms: 450 watts x 1 chan. 2 ohms: 275 watts x 1 chan. Max power output: 800 watts x 1 chan. I have two Kicker CompVR subs, Subwoofer Size 12" Dual Voice Coil Impedance 4 ohms Peak Power Handling 800 watts RMS Power Handling 400 watts How should I wire these up? Please be specific when describing the wiring diagram, I am unfortunatley not that skilled in these areas. I loved my subs before when they worked, and really want the bass back in my car. Thanks a lot. |

Here is what you can do 1ohm or 4ohm http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp?submitted=true&woofer_qt y=2&woofer_imp=4 Based on that amp I would go with the 4ohm load as I'm nore sure how well that amp could (or would) handle a 1ohm load. |
