Hello everyone,
I just purchase a subwoofers that are 10' and their rms is 250 watts and peaks at 500 watts. Will 500 watts be the correct amp to choose?

no, 250 watts will be the correct amp to choose. never go by the max or peak rating, always use continuous or RMS ratings on both amps and subs.
